Making Our Fears Golden Opportunities
Living such hectic lives can be demanding and overwhelming! The pressures and responsibilities of everyday life can wear us down turning ours fears into monsters that hold us captive. Try this exercise when you will not be disturbed and ideally in the day and not on a full stomach. Ensure you are sitting up upright with your feet firmly on the floor. If you have problems visualising perhaps try sitting at a table. Furthermore, you could enhance your visualisation by using an essential oil. A few drops could be evaporated in a burner with a little water. I would recommend any of the following : Frankincense,Rosewood, Rose Geranium and Vertivert essential oil. Frankincense and Vertivert are quite earthly smells and Rosewood with a Rose smell. Whilst Rose Geranium is a Rose Smell with a lemon hint. Rose Geranium is great if you are feeling totally out of balance whilst the other smells help you anchor your strength and courage or draws it to you.
Feel confident and know my working on yourself and switching your thought processes your fears are golden opportunties for you to grow and evolve.
My Fears are Golden Opportunities Exercise
Imagine you are sitting around a table with several guests. Each guest represents a fear sitting on a chair (max 3). You are sitting at the head of the table on a tall red wooden chair secured to the floor enabling you to stare down on your fears. In the pit of your stomach you feel strong as you stare at each guest in turn. You acknowledge the discomfort each guest has caused you and you want to release it now.
Taking a deep breath you breathe out the discomfort caused by that fear towards the guest it belongs to. It leaves your mouth as a black smoke turning into a golden mist as it hits the guest's face. Do this too each guest. Upon doing so the guest smiles joyfully and silently gets up and leaves the room. Upon each exhale you feel safer, lighter and confident to find solutions to move forward. Your fears are golden opportunities for you to grow. When the last guest leaves you gently wake up and move your feet thanking the universe. Please drink a glass on water and acknowledge the feelings of ease and release you now feel.
Take care of you
