When Do Prayers get ANSWERED?
In my youth I often believed my prayers were never answered, but I was wrong. Prayers are always answered but not necessarily how we expect nor in our time frame. There are just some circumstances and lessons we have to endure or experience that do not afford a quick fix nor an agreeable solution. How else could we learn to make wise decisions by learning from our mistakes? How else could we have the ability to empathise with others if we too have not experienced such challenging circumstances. Difficulties are lessons that once learned enable us to open up our hearts more readily to assist others with such pain. Paving the way to self healing and purpose in our lives. Often victims become great healers and teachers to aid others to access their own life lessons towards wholeness.
Often when we pray we are sending out an SOS because we are finding a life lesson challenging and we want our pain taken away immediately; without understanding why the pain arose in the first place and to fix it naturally ourselves. So, often when we pray and we feel like nothing is happening, it is but not as miraculously as we would have envisaged in our minds. Our spiritual support team draw near to us and by their presence they enable us to access our our strength. They 'hold us up' so we do not fall until the lesson is learned if we are courageous to dig deep and develop the attributes and characteristics we need to bring forth from our spirit. During such times when the crisis has passed we find ourselves saying "I really do not know how I got through that! I did it all on my own, no one helped me!" You'd be right, because you would have worked to acquire an attribute which previously was lacking but your spiritual team would have helped you focus on the `prize' ,the attribute you needed to acquire through the power of your pray request.
Prayers are always heard but time is an important ingredient in acquiring the prerequisites necessary. Spiritual maturity also arises when we know what to pray for and understanding when our prayers have been answered. Never doubt this.
